Application

1. Pyrimidine-salicylic acid herbicides are acetolactate inhibitors that act by stopping the biosynthesis of branched chain amino acids. It is mainly used for post-emergence weeding of direct-seeded rice, and is effective against barnyardgrass from the 1st to the 7th leaf stage, especially from the 3rd to the 6th leaf stage. It is also effective against cheatgrass, manjik, Arabian sorghum, purple water amaranth, duck-plantar grass, melongrass, heterogeneous sedge, broken rice sedge, damsel, firefly rushes, false horsetail and corn grass. It is stable in most soils and climates and can be used in combination with other pesticides.
