Organic pigments are insoluble organic substances which are usually added to a substrate in a highly dispersed state to colour the substrate. The fundamental difference between organic pigments and dyes is that dyes are soluble in the dyeing medium used, whereas pigments are not soluble in the medium in which they are used nor in the substrate being coloured. Many pigments and dyes are identical in chemical structure and can be transformed into each other by using different methods, for example, certain reduction dyes and sulphide reduction dyes can be used as fibre dyes if they are reduced to cryptochromes; if they are not reduced, they can be used as pigments in high grade inks. Organic pigments are widely used in inks, paints, coatings, synthetic fibres, as well as in the printing of fabrics, plastics, rubber and leather, with the largest amount of pigments used in inks.
Application:
1.Mainly used in gravure printing ink and plastics, can also be used for non-high-grade coatings, good hood gloss paint, light resistance 5-6 grades.
2.It is mainly used for coloring inks, plastics, rubber, coatings and cultural and educational supplies, Based Inks.
