It has a strong inhibitory effect on Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, Shigella dysenteriae, Vibrio cholerae, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic streptococcus, typhoid bacillus, amoeba and other bacteria. It is mainly used to treat intestinal infections such as gastroenteritis and bacillary dysentery, and also has certain curative effects on tuberculosis, scarlet fever and respiratory tract infections.
