Product Description

Azoxystrobin is a broad-spectrum β-methoxyacrylate fungicide, used as a pesticide in agriculture.

Application

1. It is a methoxyacrylate fungicidal pesticide, highly effective and broad-spectrum, with good activity against almost all diseases of the fungal kingdom (subphylum Cysticerca, subphylum Strettae, subphylum Flagellata and subphylum Hemiptera) such as powdery mildew, rust, glume blight, reticulosis, downy mildew and rice blight.
2. It can be used for stem and leaf spray, seed treatment and also soil treatment, mainly for cereals, rice, peanuts, grapes, potatoes, fruit trees, vegetables, coffee and lawns. Use at doses of 25mL-50/acre.
3. Pyrimethanil should not be mixed with insecticide emulsions, especially organophosphorus emulsions, nor with organosilicon synergists, as it can cause damage due to excessive penetration and spreading.
4. Pyrimethanil has been found to cause damage to protected tomatoes and should be used with caution within 2 weeks of transplanting tomato seedlings. It has been found that vegetable powdery mildew has developed resistance to pyrimethanil and there is a significant reduction in effectiveness with more than 2 consecutive applications.
